EXAM SCHEDULE: REVISED

January 28, 2008 at 6:47 pm (Uncategorized) ()

huraaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy!!! So, my math exam will be on Wednesday!
Due to a really small teeny-tiny (as my physics teacher calls it) storm, the WHOLE exam schedule for my school got revised. The whole thing is now one day away. So, we get the fact that my exam will be on Wednesday and not tomorrow! Well, in fact, it’s worse. It’s a math exam and therefore, it’s easy. So, “the sooner the better” really comes in handy here! :( But anyway, I can rest today too! and continue on working on my program :D

Why I don’t like messengers

January 26, 2008 at 10:05 pm (Uncategorized)

If you think about it, it’s not such a good thing. As long as you don’t talk to people far far away, there is literally no point in using messenger. Well, in case of people far far away, you can use something called “telephone” which is definitely healthier for your relationships than “messenger.” Let’s face it, messenger takes your relationship with your friends a few steps down, and not up! And also, you don’t actually “talk” but you type. In case of IRC messengers, I agree, I use them myself to communicate with KDE and Fedora developers and other Linux users to learn and get ideas from them!
After all, messenger doesn’t let you really express yourself the way you want!

How do you see messenger? (ideas go into comments section and thanks for you comments)!

Windows…after 3 month Linux!

January 25, 2008 at 8:31 pm (Uncategorized)

As you study more and more programming, you’ll understand that it’s not about that Windows(TM) is such a slow operating system because of this and that, but it’s written poorly.  Yes, poorly, you heard right.  I definitely didn’t look at the source code because I don’t have the *freedom* I have on Linux, in Windows but generally, you can tell by its performance that it is really written so poorly without having performance in mind.  Well, they have to think about security!!

After 3 months of using Fedora (a Linux distribution) I can tell that performance is astonishingly different in these two different OSs.  Anyway, I absolutely HAVE TO work with Windows for about a few minutes now.   But after that, I’ll jump back to “my” Linux again! :D

Can’t wait for this few minutes to end!

changed again!

January 19, 2008 at 5:55 pm (Uncategorized)

ok, ok, I know, I change my blog rapidly and quite often. I don’t really know why! But well, you know, I get tired of one kind of theme and service. Recently, however, I realized that WordPress is a quite popular weblog service with nice themes. Anyway, let’s get started, I had an exam today. English. It was disastrous. I spent 3 whole hours to write that test and was literally the last one to come out of that room! My hands were hurting badly as a result of writing tons of pages (it was about 8 tall pages in total). Anyhow, I chose this service (WordPress.com) for now to see how it goes.
If you want to know what I’m doing now: I’m studying C++ and am planning to learn Qt as soon as I finish C++. Doing exams at the moment and quite pleased with life here!

January 3, 2008 at 7:46 pm (Uncategorized)

I know I’m a bit late. It’s now January 3rd and I’m blogging about new year. 2008. This year will be a great year for KDE because they (KDE Developers) are releasing it only 7 days from now and also 4.1 will come out later this year. 2007 was good, but hope 2008 will be even better.
HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT 2008!
